CAPPER'S Magazine to Publish novella
Mom's Crazy Quilt, a novella, will appear in the January, February, and March 2009 issues of CAPPER"S Magazine, a publication that has flourished for more than 125 years. This is the third of Sandra's novellas published by CAPPER'S.
Poem to run in The Lutheran Digest
Sandra's poem, Thanksgiving, will appear in an upcoming issue of The Lutheran Digest.
Plans for a book signing in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the early fall
Sandra is making arrangements for a book signing in Tulsa, where she lived for 13 years prior to 1994. The time and place are not yet determined. She will be signing her newest novel, Riches to Rags; copies of The Album, published in 2003, will also be available.
Minnesota book signings scheduled for August
Sandra is scheduled for a book signing at Barnes & Noble in Mankato, Minnesota on August 21st. She will be signing Riches to Rags. The following week she'll be holding signings of her book at a couple of neighborhood coffee klatches in small towns around Minneapolis.
Book signing to benefit NAMI of Southwest Missouri
On Saturday, August 16th, Sandra will be signing her newly released novel, Riches to Rags. The event is scheduled for noon to 4 p.m. at Border's Books in Springfield, with profits going to NAMI of Southwest Missouri. The book, addressing mental illness and homelessness, is dedicated to NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
